Eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and food rich in lean protein can drastically turn your skin looking younger for a long period. Include in your diet foods that are rich in vitamin C and low in unhealthy fats, as well as refined carbohydrates for a healthy looking skin from the inside and out.

One important tip on how to keep your skin healthy is to avoid smoking. Smoking makes your skin look old. It is the main contributor to wrinkles, depletion of oxygen in the skin, and reduction of nutrients that are very important to make the skin healthy. You should also consider wearing protective clothing when going outside. As much as possible, avoid the sun between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm because it is the time of the day where the sun’s rays are strongest.
